Sun's Up, Boys - Edition of 18

By and large, the people who invest in my art are independent folk. I am too. My work invariably depicts defiant people living life by their own terms, even when facing harsh environs. My Studio Director says I have the “Don’t Tread on Me” collection!

Keeping with this theme, I’m pleased to announce my latest series, Lady Wranglers. This series will explore the autonomous women who make their home in the West.

The first lady depicted in the series is entitled Sun’s Up, Boys. When I was sculpting her, I pictured a tough, no-nonsense woman that takes sass from no one. Can’t you just hear her saying, “Daylight is burning, so saddle your horse and get going. You are working for me!”
